Plover's Sailing Adventures -- Summer 2016
We arrived in Oak Harbor on June -- after an extended road trip from Texas. We met up with Kelley at the Grand Canyon where we spent a few days hanging out. After that
Bandera to Menard, TX
Spent night with Stan and Bride.
Menard, TX to Clovis, NM
Oasis State Park
Clovis, NM to Blue Water State Park, NM
Camera bag incident
Winslow, AZ
Just for fun
Grand Canyon
Met up with Kelley and spent a few days together
Piute State Park, UT
Dusty, mountains, sailed, wet papers
Willard Bay State Park, UT
On Salt Lake which wasn't salty after all
Hilgard Junction State Park, OR
After an extended road trip from Texas, we finally arrived in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island.
It was great to see the boat again and to visit with our friends, Doug and Lori, who live there.
We had decided to launch the boat at Cornet Bay Marine Park near Deception Pass because the ramp is pretty deep there.
We have a Washington marine park pass so we were able to use the dock space until we were ready to leave.
We spent over a week getting the boat rigged and provisioned.
Opening Day for the crabbing season was on July 1 and we got our limit in Dungeness Crab.
